Title: 20 June 2019 - Farmer (46y) Murdered (from Nigel) Post by: Tony on June 21, 2019, 10:24:15 pm Johan Pretorius, a 46 year old farmer was attacked and murdered last night when he arrived at the gate of his farm at Witkop near Nigel. He was attacked by several black males who started hitting him all over his body with pick axe handles. The man ran away but collapsed in his yard next to a vehicle. The attackers also set the vehicle ablaze. Neighbours of the man arrived to see what was happening when they saw the smoke. They found the man dead next to his vehicle with severe burn wounds to his body. The man's wife was inside the farm house at the time of the attack.
